What keeps coming up in pharmacies

  • Hours and on-duty days change

Holidays, summer hours, on-duty nights: if Google says open and you're closed, the bad review arrives that same night.

  • Lots of services nobody sees

Dosette boxes, nutrition, orthopaedics, skincare advice, lab tests: if it isn't online, patients don't know you offer it.

  • Regulations come first

Advertising medicines and selling online have their own rules. A badly worded text is a problem with the professional body.

The pharmacy, from the inside.

Six things looked after on every pharmacy website.

Hours and on-duty days

If Google says open and you're closed, the bad review arrives that same night.

  • Live open or closed status
  • Holidays and summer scheduled
  • On-duty days on the website and Google at once

Services people can see

Much of what a pharmacy does is unknown to patients: if it isn't online, it doesn't exist.

  • A page for each service
  • What it includes and how to request it
  • WhatsApp button with the message pre-written

WhatsApp orders

Patients write when they remember, not when there's a gap at the counter.

  • WhatsApp button across the website
  • Collection without queuing
  • Home delivery if you offer it

Google and reviews

Many patients find you on Maps before they find your website.

  • Google profile kept up to date
  • Reviews answered in your tone
  • Monthly report via WhatsApp

Content with judgement

Health is no place for carelessly written copy.

  • Seasonal tips
  • Reviewed by a pharmacist
  • For the website and social media

What the regulations say

Questions about pharmacies

Can you set up online sales?

Distance selling of non-prescription medicines is limited to authorised pharmacies that have notified their regional authority beforehand. You'll be guided through the process; parapharmacy products can be sold without those requirements.

Who reviews the health tips?

A pharmacist on the team. No health content goes out without that review.

Does it work for a group of several pharmacies?

Yes: one website per pharmacy, or one group website with a page for each.

Shall we look at your website?
